Thakoon make-up for spring summer 2010

Ok so here is a show that I worked on with the amazingly talented Diane Kendel,one of my personal make-up heroes  and great friend. This is a look we achieved with all Nars make-up and I wanted to talk about the look ,as it's such a modern and cool summer make-up that everyone can wear for day or evening and the products we used.

This picture shows you one of the models being worked on backstage at Thakoon,the skin is light and dewy and the lip is nude and the eye is very slightly smokey with a hint of shimmer with silver highlights and a contoured cheek.

Here are the products we used to acheive this look;

Nars sheer matte foundation,and then apply a new product which Nars just brought out which is an absolute must in your make-up kit,it's called Nars Orgasm Illuminator,and lightly apply it to cheeks,nose,forehead and chin.

To contour the cheeks ,which means instead of using the apple of the cheek,apply a darker shade in the sockets of the cheekbone to therefore sculpt the face,we used Nars Malaysia Multiple Bronzer,and then highlight the cheeks with a light shimmer,we used Nars Hungry Heart Blush Duo.

On the eyes, Nars  Alhambra Duo Eyeshadow on the entire eyelid up to the brows.

Blend Nars D.Gorgeous Single Eyeshadow,with Nars Kuala Lumpur Duo,in the crease and around the eye itself.

Now the only thing I would change for everyday that wasn't used on the runway is to apply a little mascara,as we actually applied a shadow to the lashes,and then finish off with  Nars Bali Single eyeshadow,on the inner and outer corners of the ye to make them pop!!!

Finally the lips we actually muted them with concealer but again I would say for every day ,lets just go with the lip gloss,in Nars Ophelia..
